Catherine Jessie Bloch was born on November 25, 1920 in Alma, Illinois to Frank and Frankie (nee Thomas) Doudera. She passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Wheeling.

Kay worked as assembler for Seeburg Company and Debron. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxillary, Park Ridge Post 3579. 
 
Kay is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Kurt) Collins; her grandchildren, Kyle Collins and Kaitlin Collins; her sister, Marianne Lear; her brother, Richard Doudera; and many nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Matthew Bloch; her brothers, Louie and Raymond (Mary) Doudera; and her sisters, Laura (the late Harvey) Mercer and Josephine (the late Stanley) Straz.
 
Visitation  from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 20, 2013.  Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
