John G. McLoraine
Of Arlington Heights

John G. McLoraine was born September 13, 1924 in Davenport, IA to John L. and Clara (nee White) McLoraine.  He died December 16, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights surrounded by his family. 

John served as a navigator in the Army Air Corps during WWII.  He worked for Allstate Insurance for 38 years. 

John is survived by his wife Therese (nee Neven) McLoraine; his children Mary Kathryn McLoraine, Donna (Breese) Watson, Teri (Rob) Stewart, John (Pam) McLoraine, Bob (Jil) McLoraine, Anne (Don) Johnson and Tim (James Ross) McLoraine; his grandchildren Shannon, Breese, Shane, Maureen, Kelly, Megan, Colleen, Dan, Sean, Christy, Erin and by eight great grandchildren.
 
John is preceded in death by his daughter Maureen McLoraine; his brother Robert McLoraine and by his parents.
 
Visitation from 3 PM until 9 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights.  Prayers 10:15 AM, Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:00 AM.  Burial at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 North Ridge Ave. Chicago, IL 60660 or to the St. James Building Fund.
