Ria Gentile

Ria Gentile was born on March 29, 1926 in Offenbach, Germany to Ernest and Elizabeth (nee Hoch) Geier. She died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Gentile worked as a senior executive for Ask Mr. Foster/Carlson Travel Agency before retiring. She was former president of the Women's Travel Club. 
 
Ria is survived by her husband Armando; her sisters, Lydia Wurtel, Renata Johnson, and Ingrid Galum, her brother, Heinz Geier,  and her many nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by late Husband, Robert Wilhelm and her parents.
 
Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral Service 10:00 am, Monday, December 9, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd. Burial at All Saints.
