Elizabeth J.  Whowell was born on August 19, 1934, to Andrew and Mary (nee Weber) Kraft. She passed on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Mrs. Whowell was a dedicated employee of the Sears and Roebuck Company for over 20 years. She was a generous supporter and member of St. Peter Lutheran Church for many years. 

Elizabeth is survived by her children Andrew (Ingrid), Jonathan R. (Wendi) and Joseph M. (Jacqueline); her grandchildren Matthew B., Amanda B., Melissa A., Bradley C., Brighton T., Brendan M.; Braxton E.; Brittany P. (Josh) Grung, Stephanie A (Sam) Abdullatif, Alicia R. and  James J; and her great-grandchildren, Joshua W. Grung Jr., Hailey A. Abdullatif, Aubrey M. Abdullatif, and Shannon Scott; and her brother, Richard (Susan) Kraft.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bernard; and her infant son, James.

Visitation  from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, December 6, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. and from 10:00 AM until time of  Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights, Illinois. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church 111 W. Olive St. Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
