Maureen C. O'Neill
Of Wheeling
Maureen C. O'Neill was born on November 11, 1933 in New York, New York
to Thomas and Helena (nee Wright) McDermott. She died Sunday, December
25, 2011 at Lutheran Home & Services, Arlington Heights.
Mrs. O'Neill worked as a Homemaker.
Maureen is survived by her children, Robyn O'Neill; Robert (Beth)
O'Neill; Grandchildren Rebecca Helkowski, Robyn Helkowski, Nell
Katherine O'Neill, Eric (Christy) Helkowski, Zachary Larson, Jacob
Larson, Taylor O'Neill and Justin O'Neill; Great-Grandchildren, Caden
and Isaac Helkowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Spouse, Robert F. O'Neill,
Daughter, Maryjo O'Neill Larson; and siblings ,Brendan and Desmond
McDermott, Helena Otterbine and Patricia Lovelock.
Visitation from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at
Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington
Heights, Illinois, and also, Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 9:00 AM
until the time of the 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Edna Catholic Church,
2525 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Hts., Illinois 60004. Burial will
take place in the St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine,
Illinois.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society, Greater Illinois Chapter, 525 West Monroe Street,
Suite "900, Chicago, IL 60661.
