Louise Anna Carlson

Louise Anna Carlson was born on June 22, 1921 in Vessigebro, Halland, Sweden, to Carl and Signe (nee Karlsson) Johansson. She died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at her home in Arlington Heights.

She was a 38-year member of the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, in Arlington Heights, and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was also a member of various Swedish Clubs in the Chicago area. Louise loved to garden, bake, do needlework, and take care of her home and family.

Louise is survived by her Daughter, Christine (Peter) Weber; Granddaughter, Jennifer (Chad) Scoggins, and Grandson, Matthew (Maria Briskovic - Fiance) Weber; Great-granddaughter, Emelie Anna Scoggins; silbings, Elsa Tengelin, Siv Johansson, and Karl-Erik (Maja) Johansson of Sweden.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard Carlson; her Daughter, Monica Carlson; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Also Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2011 from 11:00 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30 AM, at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Burial will take place in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Friends of Children In Therapy (FOCIT) 3105 North Wilke Rd., Suite H, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
