Dorothy Helm
Of Arlington Heights
Dorothy Helm was born on February 9, 1922 in Chicago, IL to Fred and
Frieda (nee Samuelson) Gallop. She died Friday, December 9, 2011 in
Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Helm was a resident of Arlington Heights for 50 years, and a
lifelong Cubs fan.
Dorothy is survived by her spouse of 65 years, Wilbert C. Helm; her
children, James A. (Patricia) Helm, Bill Helm, and David F. Helm; and
her grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Samantha and Amanda Helm.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Frederick and
William Gallop.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at
Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington
Heights, Illinois. Funeral Service 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 14,
2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Burial will take place at
Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Larkin Center, 1212
