Of Mount Prospect
Vito A. Quaranta was born in Italy on April 22, 1923 to Louis and
Filomena (nee DeSimini) Quaranta. He died December 30, 2010 at his home
in Mount Prospect.
Mr. Quaranta was a WWII Veteran, and was an electrician for the City of
Chicago (Union # 134).
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anna (nee Lenzini) Quaranta,
whom he married April 11, 1953; his children, Lou (Pam) Quaranta,
Michael (Merry) Quaranta, Phyllis (Steve) Krupa, and Catherine (Bill)
Nagle; his grandchildren, Michael (Katie), Matthew, and Marc Quaranta,
Christopher, Jason, and Alex Krupa, and Lauren, Caitlin, and Will Nagle.
Visitation from 2 until 8 PM, Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Glueckert
Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of
Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 3,
2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N.
Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10 AM. Entombment
at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
