Robert Blake DeBaun

Robert Blake DeBaun was born on August 13, 1950 in Topeka, Kansas to
S. Burton and Margaret L. (nee Allison) DeBaun. He passed away on December 29, 2010 at his home.

Mr. DeBaun was a Senior Vice President at RoundTable Healthcare Partners and also had served on the board of directors of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

He was an ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate and received a Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas in 1973 and his Masters Degree in Labor Relations also from the University of Kansas in 1974. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1977 as a Lieutenant. He served as an Executive Officer and Special Weapons Officer in the 1st Battalion, 94th Field Artillery, Nuremberg, West Germany.

His corporate career included Hallmark Cards, Inc., Kansas City, MO, American Hospital Supply Corporation, Evanston, IL, Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Deerfield, IL, Allegiance Healthcare Corporation, McGaw Park, IL, and Cardinal Healthcare, McGaw Park, IL.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jane Mary (nee Lundgren) DeBaun; his children, Elizabeth Anne (Jason) Pasquinelli of Chicago, IL and Robert Blake DeBaun, Jr. of San Francisco, CA; his mother, Margaret L. DeBaun of Menomonee Falls, WI; and his brothers, John H. DeBaun (Gayle) of Brookfield, WI and Thomas B. DeBaun (Laura) of Osage City, KS.

Visitation Monday, January 3, 2011 from 4 PM until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, January 4, 2010 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Rd., lie in state at church from 10 AM until time of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
