James J. Koffman

James J. Koffman was born on June 21, 1914 to Joseph and Mary (nee Murphy) Koffman in Chicago. He passed away on December 24, 2010 in Belleair Beach, Florida.

Before his retirement, Jim worked at Merck Industries as a Sales Representative in the Pharmaceutical Division. He was the ultimate handyman and loved to help other people with their projects, he even finished the interior of an entire house. Jim loved to fish with his family and was loved by all.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Kathy DeClercq of Belleair Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Michele (Christopher) Gryzik and Tiffany (Kevin) Schwall and his great grandchildren, Carly, Austin, Patrick, Ryan and Justin.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ann (nee Weiss) Koffman.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 2, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 3, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary Catholic Parish 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial is at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
