Of Arlington Heights
Joshua Lowell “Josh” Strutz was born February 14, 1990 in Midlothian, Illinois to Stan Strutz and Gail L. nee Lonkar. He died Friday, December 18, 2009.
Josh was a college student in his sophomore year at DePaul University. He was an avid hockey player and a current member of the DePaul hockey club. Josh graduated from St. Viator High School in 2008 where he played hockey all four years. He also played for the Glenview Stars, Team Illinois and the Glen Ellyn Flames.
Josh is survived by his mother Gail (John) Muszynski of Arlington Heights, his father Stan (Adria) Strutz of Lockport; and his siblings Jessica Strutz, Adam and Rebecca Muszynski, Tyler and Logan Strutz.
Visitation from 3:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 9:00 AM, Tuesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Private.
