Lance Clinton Kramer
Formerly of Arlington Heights

Lance Clinton Kramer was born February 24, 1939 in Paullina, Iowa to William and Ruth (nee Lund) Kramer. He died December 13, 2009 at his residence in Johnsburg, Illinois.

Mr. Kramer was a meat cutter for National, Westgate and Elliot Food Stores until 1986. He then went to work as a custodian for Paddock School in Palatine District #15 until 2004 when he retired. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his wife, Sue (nee Fendick) of 30 years, whom he married September 15, 1979; his children, Terrill (Tina) Kramer of Marietta, Georgia, Mark (Lei) Kramer of Chicago, Rich (Bernarda) Kramer of McHenry, Darlene (Marty) Rittenhause of Shawnee, Kansas, David (Vanya) Kramer of Lake Forest and David Grubbs of Buffalo Grove; his 13 grandchildren, Suzanne and David Allen Grubbs Jr., Zachary, Aislyn, Matthew, Veronica, Patrick , Andrew, Dimiter and Jian Kramer, Andrew, Grace and Brynn Rittenhouse; his sister Cheryl (Allan) Campbell of Memphis, TN, and his brothers Bill (Rita) Kramer of Memphis, TN, Kim Kramer of Michigan and Kyle Kramer of Memphis, TN.

Lance is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service Friday, December 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
