Suk Nan “Connie” Sizer
Of Arlington Heights

Suk Nan “Connie” Sizer was born on July 18, 1940 in Jun Nam, Korea to Yun Ui Jung and Yun Man Yae. She passed away on December 12, 2009 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Connie worked as a cashier at the Buffalo Grove Jewel from 1974 to 1996. She was a parishioner at St. Edna Parish since 1972. She was also active at the Northwest Community Hospital Wellness Center and was a member of the Korean American Wives Club.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert J. Sizer; her daughters, Joy (Kevin) Lahvic and Jane (Michael) Jacobs; her grandchildren, Sean and Lauren Lahvic and Genevieve, Alaina Yun and Joseph Jacobs; her brother, Yun Suk Yun; and her sisters, Kim Suk Sun and Park Suk Nee.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Yun Young Sik.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the funeral home to St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd. for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
