Thomas Martin Fitzpatrick

Thomas Martin Fitzpatrick was born to Fred and Mary (nee Kennedy) Fitzpatrick on September 30, 1913 in Hibbing Minnesota. He passed away on November 30, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

The Cubs lost their #1 fan. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Thomas was a retired millwright and had a life membership in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

He is survived by his children, Sharon (Bill) Johnson, Tom (Jené) Fitzpatrick , his grandchildren; Bill (Kerry), Mary (Dan), Patti (Mark), Michael (Aris), Kerri (David), Tom (France) and Kelly (Scott) and 18 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera (nee Blyth), his son Danny Fitzpatrick, his parents, his grandson David (Julie) Johnson, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.

Visitation Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 (four blocks south of Palatine Road) and Friday, December 4, 2009 from10:00 AM until time of funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Becket, 1321 Burning Bush Lane, Mt. Prospect. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
