Janet Marie Goscinski was born September 10, 1936 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Maurice A. and Viola (nee Pientkewic) Plourde. She died December 12, 2008 at her home of 48 years in Arlington Heights embraced by the loving arms of her husband and 2 daughters.
Mrs. Goscinski worked as a human resources secretary at Chicago Aerial Industries in Barrington from 1955 to 1961 It was there that she met and fell in love with her husband Ron. They were married on November 12, 1960 in North Lake, IL . A loving and devoted wife, mother and daughter she dedicated her life to caring for her family. Always putting others needs before her own.
Janet is survived by her husband Ronald J. Goscinski; her daughters Lynn (Lawrence) Fredette and Julie (Edward) Gleason; her grandchildren Nicole and Kellie Fredette and Carly, Joseph and Zachary Gleason; her sister Marilyn (Henry) Hohn and many other brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her infant son Joseph A. Goscinski, her parents and by her siblings William, Carmen and Walter Plourde.
Visitation Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 3 -9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:45 AM, Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
