Theresia Neugebauer-Ruppel

Theresia Neugebauer-Ruppel, formerly of Arlington Heights, was born June 30, 1936 in Holzkirchen, Germany to Ludwig and Anna (nee Leitner) Voggenreiter. She died Tuesday, December 2, at her home.

Mrs. Neugebauer-Ruppel was employed as a cashier and cook for Sodexho, a division of Marriott. She is a former seamstress.

Her survivors include her husband William Ruppel, whom she married February 17, 1991; her daughter Erika Barber of Bartlett; her siblings Liesel Absmeier, Ludwig (Hedwig) Voggenreiter, and Joseph (Heidi) Voggenreiter; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Robert (Julie) Ruppel, Addy (Paul) Albrecht, Henry (Rita) Ruppel, Emmy Domolky, Trudy (Joe) Gies and Margarete (Hans) Gergen; and her many nieces and nephews.

Theresia is preceded in death by her daughter Andrea, her sister Anni Kohlmann and her parents.

Visitation is from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
