Fran Lucas was born on February 24, 1927 in Chicago to John and Mary (nee Czarnota) Flaga. She passed away on December 30, 2007 in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Don Slavicek) Lucas-Slavicek and her grandsons, Lucas and Myles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Andy Lucas.

Visitation Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to DSI, 17 W. Golf Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60005 where Fran had received dialysis treatment or to the First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, 1903 E. Euclid, Arlington Heights, 60004.
