Mary J. Dwyer, a 45 year
resident of Arlington
Heights, was born January
10, 1923 in Dublin, Ireland.
She died Tuesday, December
25, 2007 at Northwest
Community Healthcare Center
in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Dwyer was a clerk for
Illinois Bell/ATT for over
38 years before retiring in
1984 and had been a member
of the Telephone Pioneers of
America for many years. She
is a 45-year member of St.
James Church where she was
active in PADS. Her family
will remember her as a
“Jeopardy Champion” and a
sweets lover.
Mary’s survivors include her
daughters Patricia (Robert)
Clem and Connie Dwyer, both
of Arlington Heights and her
daughter-in-law Marianne
Dwyer; she was the “beloved
grams” of Kati, Tommy and
Danny Vavrinek, Kevin and
Kerry Dwyer, Christopher and
Megan Clem and Erin
(Raphael) Bauron.
She is preceded in death by
her husband George; her sons
Thomas and G. Christopher;
her parents, and her sister
Eilish Plautz.

Illinois.
