Barbara Kwiatek
Of Arlington Heights

Barbara Kwiatek was born December 2, 1925 in Polland to Wicenty and Anna (nee Andreasik) Gruszka. She died December 17, 2007 after a lengthy illness with Parkinson’s Disease at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.


Survivors include her children Stanley (Angela) Kwiatek of Mt. Prospect, Mary Chwal of Lake Zurich and John (Maria) Kwiatek of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Ann, Tom, Robert, Kathy, Monica, Eva and Michael; her great grandchildren Abby, Tyler, Max and Robbie; her sister Stafania and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Julian Kwiatek, whom she married August 9, 1945 in Polland and her parents.

Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Thursday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10 AM. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
