Harold J. Lind, Jr., was born on December 17, 1959 in Evanston to Harold J. and Margaret M. (nee Fritz) Lind, Sr. He died Friday, December 29, 2006 in Wheeling.

Harry served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and auto racing. He was active in many softball leagues in the area.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Lind; his siblings, Mark (Sharon) Lind of Algonquin, Mary Jo (Karl) Buttstadt of San Antonio, TX, Patti Corbett of Eden Prairie, MN, Peter (Mary) Lind of Palatine, Frank (Kristin) Lind of East Dundee, Karen (Dan) Benway of Arlington Heights, Rick Lind of Rolling Meadows and Robert (Janna) Lind of Elmhurst; and many nieces and nephews.

Harry is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Margaret Lind.

Memorial Visitation 3:00 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
