Erwin M. Schweitzer

Erwin M. Schweitzer was born on December 18, 1923 in Milwaukee, Wis. to Martin and Caroline (nee Schultz) Schweitzer. He passed away on December 16, 2006 in Arlington Heights.

Erwin served in the Army and was a POW during WWII.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mildred (nee Reeves), his daughter, Margaret (Aaron) Johnson of Lake Mills, Wis., his grandchildren, Andrew (Jennifer) Costello of Palatine, John W. V (Natasha) Costello of Prospect Heights and Jeremy (Dana) French of Buffalo Grove and his great grandchildren, Kailee, Millie and John W. VI “Jack” Costello and Jeremy and Caroline French.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 11:45 AM Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 12:30 PM. Entombment All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a favorite charity.
