Anne Hanson

Anne Hanson, recently of Schaumburg, former long time resident of Niles, was born April 16, 1918 in Chicago to Peter and Mariette (nee Chiariello) Catalo. She died Monday, December 4, 2006 at Brighton Gardens Healthcare Center in Hoffman Estates.

Mrs. Hanson worked at the Zenith Corporation and was a devoted homemaker. She is a former 40 year member of St. John Brebeuf Catholic Church in Niles, IL.

She is survived by her son-in-law Bernard Kuehlhorn; her devoted grandchildren Timothy, Sean and Caitlin Kuehlhorn; and her loving sister Melinda (Edward) Malatesta.

Anne is preceded in death by her beloved husband and devoted companion Henry (Hank – her prince); her precious daughter Debra; her loving sister Victoria (William Sr.) Kroll and her parents. She was deeply loved by many relatives, friends, and neighbors. Her laughter and playful and loving ways were a gift to all who knew her. Her grandchildren were the world to her. She was their loving and devoted advocate, paving the way to expanded love in their life. The world lost an Italian princess who left her mark. In her memory, laugh often and love much.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM, Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. John Brebeuf Church, 8307 N. Harlem Ave., Niles for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Brebeuf Church or to Association of Horizon, Inc., 3712 N. Broadway, #335, Chicago, IL 60613.
