Marie J. West was born May 9, 1932 in Melrose Park to Samuel and Florence (nee Vasta) Farina. She passed away Monday, December 26, 2005 at her home in Arlington Heights.
Marie was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, also finding time to be very active at her church, Our Lady of the Wayside.
Mrs. West is survived by her children Wayne West of Schaumburg, Alan (Jacqueline) West of Lake in the Hills, Barbara Kimball of Chicago and Diane (Thomas) Pernicone of Lake Villa; grandchildren Corey, Stacie, Courtney, Dominic and Vincent; brother Charles Farina and sisters Michelina Cochran and Nancy (Alan) Hall.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert B. West
Prayers will be held 8:45 AM, Friday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Visitation Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Entombment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
