Orlando Mastrangeli
Of Arlington Heights
Orlando Mastrangeli, formerly of Chicago was born March 29, 1924 in Rome, Italy to Paolo and Louise (nee Catracchia) Mastrangeli. He died Saturday, December 24, 2005 at his home.
Before retiring Mr. Mastrangeli was an engineer and plant manager for Zenith in Chicago.
His survivors include his wife of 54 years, Anna nee Belmonte, whom he married September 25, 1951; his children Louise (Thomas) Dickey of Arlington Heights, Gene (Holly) Mastrangeli of Bartlett, Edward (Elaine) Mastrangeli of Brookfield, Wisc., and John (Julie) Mastrangeli of Elmwood Park; his 11 grandchildren; his brother Germano (Josephine) Mastrangeli and his sisters-in-law Theresa Belmonte, Sr. Eugene Belmonte and Angelina Belmonte.
Orlando is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and a grandchild.
Visitation 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
