Edward P. DeRango
Of Arlington Heights

Edward DeRango was born April 21, 1949 in Chicago to Edward and Katherine (nee Digirolamo) DeRango. He passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. DeRango served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War. He was actively involved with the Prospect Heights Little League, Girls Softball for a number of years.

Edward is survived by his wife Nancy (nee Harrington), whom he married June 23, 1973 in Chicago; his daughters Merideth (David) Wagner of Wheeling, Erin (Fred) Zimmermann of Gilberts, Jeanine (Andrew) Mongrain of Lakewood, CO, Amy and Meghan DeRango both of Arlington Heights; grandchildren Annie and Mollie Wagner, Dylan Mongrain and Daniel Zimmermann.

Memorial visitation Thursday, from 3:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment will be private

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Heart Association, Greater Midwest Affiliate, Memorials & Tributes Program, Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968.
