Vincent D. Guerrucci

Vincent D. Guerrucci, age 79 was born December 14, 1925, to Frank and Matilda (nee Farantti) Guerrucci in Kenosha Wisconsin. He died Monday December 12, 2005 at home.

Vincent was a veteran of WWII, serving with the US Army. He served with the 10th Mountain Division in Italy where he received the Bronze Star. He was owner of V. Guerrucci & Son Landscaping since 1947. Vincent was also the chief grounds keeper for the WGN Studio’s for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Beverlee G. (nee Giortz) whom he married May 19, 1951. Children: Gina Fraser of Vernon Hills, IL, Rina (Victor) Bazel of Lake in the Hills, IL and James (Carolyn) Guerrucci of Wauconda, IL. Grandchildren: Trista, Daniel, Shelia, Lori, Frank and Matthew. Great Grandchildren: Laura, Brandon, Austin, Dawson and Zachariah. Brother: Richard Guerrucci of Kenosha. Sister: Lucille La Fayette of Kenosha. Loved by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Thursday, December 15, 2005, 10 AM until time of Funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Buffalo Grove.
