Vincent A. Guest
Of Palatine

Vincent A. Guest was born July 26, 1918 in Chicago to Vincent and Mary (nee Ligmanowski) Gecewicz. He died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, December 6, 2005.

A veteran of World War II, he served overseas with the U.S. Army. Vincent had a C.P.A. and attended the University of Chicago and Loyola University. He worked for Blue Cross/ Blue Shield and the Chicago Board of Education for many years. Vincent was ahead of his time and had a wonderfully dry sense of humor.

Vincent is survived by his beloved sister-in-law Dolores Guest; his loving nieces and nephews Mary Hill, Catheryn (John) Fogarty, James Guest, Thomas Guest, Patricia (Randy) Guest, Carolyn (Michael) Ubriaco, and many loving grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary and Vincent Gecewicz and his beloved brother, George Guest.

Visitation Friday, December 9, 2005 from 9:30 AM until time of Mass 10:30 AM, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
