Bertha S. Kargol
Of Prospect Heights

Bertha S. Kargol was born December 21, 1917, in Chicago, Illinois, to Adolph and Catherine (nee Michon) Wollenberg. She died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at home.

Mrs. Kargol was a cookie packer for Maurice Lenell. She was an avid Cubs fan and loved to work in her garden.

Her survivors include her Daughter Janet Kargol of Prospect Heights and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, friends and neighbors

Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Joseph; her sisters Virginia Mallin and Olga Bronis and her brothers Adolph and Eddie Wollenberg.

Visitation Friday, December 31, 2004 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Entombment will be at All Saints Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager, Barrington, IL 60010 or to the American Cancer Society, 100 W. Palatine Rd., Suite #150, Palatine, IL 60067.
