Elizabeth Getz
Of Buffalo Grove

Elizabeth Getz was born March 30, 1919 in Yonkers, New York to George and Dora Lesko. She passed away December 27, 2004 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Getz worked as a grocery packer for Jewel Foods in Buffalo Grove for the last nine years. She also was active in St. Mary's Women's Club and a participant in Project Linus.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Susan (Roderick) Gillen of Mundelein and son Stanley M. Getz.

Mrs. Getz was preceded in death by her husband Stanley W. Getz, brother Andrew Lesko and sisters Mary Hanrahan and Agnes Lepiny.

Visitation Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers, New York.
