Ronald P. McInerney of Arlington Heights, formerly of Chicago, beloved husband of Patricia nee Kolbus; loving father of Rhonda (Dr. Leonard) Hering, Mark (Katie) McInerney, and Kristin (Jack) Dorgan; loved grandfather of Courtney, Patrick, Michael, Joseph, Thomas, Daniel, and Kayla; dear best friend to James (Rose) Morgan and Donna Mizialko.

Mr. McInerney was a retired Chicago Police Officer (39 years), a member of The Fraternal Order of Police, American Legion, and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

Prayers 10:15 AM Saturday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd. for Mass at 11:00 AM.

Visitation Friday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, 100 W. Palatine Rd., Suite #150, Palatine, IL 60067
