Jay Jude Wemlinger
Of Prospect Heights

Jay J. Wemlinger was born July 14, 1990 in Arlington Heights to Thomas and Theresa (nee Vogt) Wemlinger.  He died November 23, 2013. 

Jay served in the Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012.  He earned the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Rifle Qualification Badge “Expert 2nd Award” and the National Defense Service Medal. 

Jay is survived by his parents, his brother Andrew Wemlinger and by his grandfather Herbert Vogt.

Jay is preceded in death by his grandparents Donna Vogt and Joseph and Elizabeth Wemlinger. 

Visitation Saturday from 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 11 AM at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights. Interment private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL  32256, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
