Elisabeth Moravy

Elisabeth Moravy was born November 19, 1952 in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden to Hans and Margit (nee Person) Köhlvik. She died November 22, 2013 at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights.

Elisabeth moved to America as an exchange student at the age of 15.  She met her husband, Joe Moravy, while attending Central Michigan University and they recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.  She was a loving wife, proud mother and dedicated her time to teaching and education. Always the energy in the room, she loved playing tennis and golf, cooking and entertaining, and enjoyed travelling around the world.

Elisabeth is survived by her husband Joe Moravy; her children Leif (Cristina Barbosa) Moravy and Lars (Juliana) Moravy; her sister Marie-Sofie Köhlvik and by her nephew Patrik Brorson.

Elisabeth is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 3 PM until time of service at 8 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.  Interment private.
