Leona Catherine Borris
Of Arlington Heights
Leona Catherine Borris was born August 23, 1922 in Chicago to Stanislaus and Catherine (nee Schiewe)Godzich. She died November 20, 2013 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
Leona is survived by her sons Dr. Theodore (Carolyn), Dr. Robert (Kathryn) and Dr. Thomas (Monica) Borris; her grandchildren Diana (Garrett) Chaussard, Stephanie, Rebecca, Anna, Matthew and Christian and by her great grandson Tristan, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Leona is preceded in death by her husband Theodore Borris.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road and on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 10:30 until time of funeral service at 11 AM, at Lutheran Home (St. John the Divine Chapel), 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights. Burial will be at Maryhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to The Lutheran Home Foundation, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 or to the Chicago Dental Society Foundation, 401 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611.
