Frances L. Glenn-Hudson

Frances L. Hudson was born February 18, 1927 in Ashdown, Arkansas to John Wason Atkins and Mary Cordelia (nee Gaither) Atkins. She died on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her home in Luther Village.

Frances was the Administrative Director of the Kirk Eye Center in River Forest, Illinois for many years prior to her retirement and recently became a proud member of the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution).

Frances is survived by her children, Robert J. (Linda) Glenn, Patricia Ann (Steven) Shadoin and Jack Edward Glenn, her five grandchildren, her 18 great-grandchildren, her niece Cheryl (Jeff) Watts, her nephew Jay (Evelyn) Frieboldt, and her sister, Sue Alexander.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her baby brother, her sister, Sula Atkins (Williams) Ewing, and her niece, Debbie (Billy) Bryan.

Visitation Saturday, November 23, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive, Arlington Heights, from 2:00 PM until the time of Service at 3:00 PM.  Interment at Mount Zion Methodist Cemetery, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Clark County Historical Association, P.O. Box 516, Arkadelphia, AR 71923, the Clark County Humane Society, 627 Walnut St., Arkadelphia, AR 71923 or St. Peter Lutheran Church.
