Dorothy P. Doppke was born on April 24, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI to Herbert and Pearl (nee Johnson) Hodge. She passed into eternal life on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Frank A. Doppke; loving mother to Denise J. (John Scheer) Doppke, Deborah A. Grandt/Doppke, Douglas T. (Mary) Doppke, Diane D. McLaughlin, Donna F. Doppke and Daniel R. Doppke; she was the devoted grandmother to Anthony Doppke, Kaitlyn McGee, Charlie Grandt, Kathryn Doppke and Ryan McGee; she was the dear sister to Russell (Gail) Hodge, the late Elizabeth Phillips, Dolores Eisenmann and Herbert Hodge.

Mrs. Doppke was a homemaker who was an active member of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church. She enjoyed the Wellness Center, reading, walking, and had participated in a bowling league and a bridge club. Dorothy was formerly active in the Girls Scouts of America.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, November 23, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Prayers 8:45 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the funeral home proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, IL for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
