Lorraine Barlow
Of Arlington Heights

Lorraine Barlow was born on September 2, 1934 in Escanaba, MI to Albin and Myrtle (nee Romaine) Olson. She died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Lutheran Home & Services in Arlington Heights.

Before retiring, Mrs. Barlow worked for JC Penney in Elk Grove Village for 15 years. She was a member of Arlington Heights Sewing Guild and was an assistant instructor for Palatine Senior Net at the Palatine Senior Center.

Lorraine is survived by her children Scott D. (Sue) Christiansen and Carolyn A. (Doug) Destache; her grandchildren Kelsey and Dana Christiansen, Nicole and Jamie Destache; and her sister, Patricia R. Olson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald G. Christiansen and John Barlow; and her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Funeral Service 10:30am, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Burial at Ridgewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to American Cancer Society 1114 N. Arlington Heights Rd Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
