Beverly Blanche Olsen
Of Arlington Heights

Beverly Blanche Olsen was born on January 22, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Blanche (nee Martin) Wieczorek. She died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in Glenview.

Beverly was a member of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. She loved to do crochet, embroidery and needlepoint. She was active with her late husband, Herman, in Rotary International, Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce, and various other organizations. They owned Suburban Rental Company in Arlington Heights. Beverly loved spending time with her family and was loved by all.

Beverly is survived by her children, Edward Olsen, Catherine (Carl) Norman, and Susan Olsen; and her grandchildren, Robert Norman, Thomas Norman, and Elizabeth Norman; and special thanks to her caregiver, Cora Aquino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman P. Olsen, whom she married June 13, 1942; her parents; and her brother, Walter Cichon.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, with a celebration of life service at 6:00 PM. Prayers will be said at 8:45 am, Monday, November 19, 2012 at the funeral home proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 am. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
