Nicholas J. Romanoff
Of Arlington Heights
Nicholas J. Romanoff was born May
19, 1937 in Yugoslavia to Peter and
Rosalia (nee Toth) Romanov. He died
November 8, 2012 at Lutheran General
Hospital in Park Ridge.
Nicholas came to the United States
in 1956. He was a tool and die maker
for Universal Automatic in Des
Plaines for 37 years. He enjoyed
traveling, fishing and most of all
spending time with his family. He
knew six languages and often
impressed people with his fluency.
Nicholas is survived by his wife
Christine (Nee Chrzanowski)
Romanoff; his children Lilly (Kevin)
Rehberger, Sandra (Richard) Lorenz;
his grandchildren Justin, Max,
Jeremy, Derek, Brad, Abigail; his
brother Alex (late Justina)
Gojkovich and many nieces and
nephews.
Nicholas is preceded in death by his
siblings Alexandra, Helen, George
and Jack and by his parents.
Visitation Monday, November 12, 2012
from 9:30 AM until time of mass at
10 AM at St. Juliana Catholic
Church, 7201 N. Oketo Ave., Chicago,
IL 60631. Interment St. Adalbert
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions
may be provided for future memorial
masses.
