Fern M. Vogel was born July 3, 1922 in Chicago to Stephen and Amanda (nee Mangels) Giles. She died November 8, 2012 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Fern is survived by her children Dennis (Jeanne) Vogel, Dolores (Steven) Wilson and Vicki (Terry) Connole; her grandchildren Robin (Doug) Gardner, Tracy Connole, Keir (Lori) Wilson, Michael (Erin) Connole, Christian (Jennifer) Wilson, Larry Vogel and Aimee (John) Bullers; her great grandchildren Tyree, Jordan, Ryan, Isaac, Hailie, Lindsey, Jackson, Matthew, Scarlett, Jaelyn and Rylee; and by many nieces and nephews.

Fern is preceded in death by her husband Victor Vogel; her grandchildren Joy Vogel and Ross Vogel and by her siblings.

Visitation Sunday from 3 until 8 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10 AM, Monday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
