Henry J. Ryan, 74, of Prospect Heights, loving husband of Kim Freeark, loved father of Henry (Kathy) Ryan III, Peggy (Russell) Pusilo, Timothy (Sheila), Gerald (Kim); fond grandfather of Henry Ryan IV, Kelly, Michael, Colleen, William, Jonathan, Katelyn, Cody, Ken, James Pusilo; cherished brother of Judith, Robert (Susan), James (Gloria), Mary Beth (William) Rice. He was preceded in death by late wife Kathleen (nee Moran), daughter Mary, parents Henry J. Sr. and Frances.

 Known to many as Harry and Hank, he lived in Streamwood for many years where he coached Little League teams and taught CCD classes. He worked in the Data Processing department at Unocal. Possessing an extraordinary sense of humor, he was a loving uncle, caring friend and mentor to many.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. (4 blocks south of Palatine Road). Prayers 9:15 am Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Alphonsus Liquori Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070, for a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.

Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
