Paul Arndt
Of Arlington Heights
Leo Paul Arndt was born on April 29, 1925 in Chicago to Leo Albert and
Anna (nee Mikilski) Arndt. He passed away on November 26, 2010 at his
home in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Arndt was a member of the Electricians Local Union #134 in Chicago
for 40 years, a Navy Veteran of World War II and Korea, and a founding
member of St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Mt. Prospect. Leo was an avid
outdoorsman and enjoyed tennis, fishing, jogging, boating, and biking.
He loved his family and was loved by all.
Leo is survived by his wife of 60 years, Karolyn J. (nee Menzl) Arndt;
his children, Nancy (Keith) Brunelli of Arlington Heights, Bonnie (John)
Kwasny of Des Plaines and Michael (Lynn) Arndt of Des Plaines; his
grandchildren, Emily and Brian Kwasny, Daniel Brunelli, Kyle Arndt and
Kevin Arndt;
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Donald (Toni) Arndt and Dolores
(Tony) Vincolisi, and his brother-in-law, Roland (Lillian) Menzl.
Leo was lovingly cared for later in life by Honey, Maria and Amy.
Visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 PM,
Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington
Heights. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.
