Yutaka Hayashi

Yutaka “Joe” Hayashi was born on October 6, 1929 in Centerville, CA to Shigezo and Hanae Hayashi. He passed on November 25, 2010 at his home in Palatine.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen (nee Fukumoto) Hayashi; his son, Brian W. Hayashi; his siblings, Ruby Hanaoka, Fred Hayashi and Gene Hayashi.

Yutaka is preceded in death by his son, Glenn J. Hayashi, his siblings, Noboru Hayashi, Jack Hayashi and Hatsuye Ouye.

Memorial Visitation from 5:00 PM, Tuesday, November 30, 2010 until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 are appreciated.
