Edward F. Swieszek

Edward F. Swieszek was born on April 21, 1926 to Charles and Mary, nee Piatek, Swieszek in Chicago. He passed away on November 16, 2010 at Addolorata Villa in Wheeling.

Earlier in life, he ran a shoe repair shop out of his home and worked as a salesman for Veneer Distributors, Inc. in Chicago. Edward loved to travel with his wife, Jane. He especially loved Wisconsin where he enjoyed fishing and felt he could always relax there. He was a real handyman for family members and belonged to a wood carving group in Arlington Heights. He was a huge White Sox fan. Edward loved his family and was loved by all.

Mr. Swieszek is survived and loved by many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and also Godparent to many.

Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Jane, nee Milewski, Swieszek.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL 60060 for Mass at 10:30 AM. Burial at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church Cemetery.
