Kenneth F. Klein
longtime resident of Arlington Heights

Kenneth F. Klein was born May 31, 1952 in Chicago to Norman P. and Bernice (nee Blachura) Klein. He passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Midwest Palliative Hospice and Care Center in Skokie.

Mr. Klein was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching. He was extremely proud of his involvement with Arlington Heights youth sports. Additionally, he was a state wrestler for Prospect High School while becoming a skillful golfer later in his life. He was a loyal Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.

He is survived by his wife Char (nee Virzi) Klein; his children, Brad, Scott, and Matt; his siblings, Norm (Teri) Klein, Bob Klein, Sandy (Ron) Ward, and Nancy (Mark) Dalton; his father, Norman; and his many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice.

Memorial visitation from 3 PM until 9 PM, Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Memorial Mass 10 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Midwest Palliative Hospice, 2050 Claire Ct., Glenview, IL 60025.
