Bridget Ann (Bea) Riefke
Of Arlington Heights

Bridget Ann (Bea) Riefke was born August 30, 1935 in Chicago to John and Grace (nee Kimler) Murray. She passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Riefke was a secretary at St. Viator High School from 1979 until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Care Ministry at St. James Church, a member of the St. James Women’s Golf League, and active at St. James and St. Viator Schools.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Riefke, whom she married on January 26, 1957 in Chicago; her children, Collette (Dwayne) Box of Kalispell, Montana, Robert Riefke, Jr. of Arlington Heights, Brian Riefke of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, Michelle (Stewart) Smith of Mundelein, and Kevin Riefke of Evanston; her grandchildren, Justine, Tyler, Allie, and Joseph Riefke of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, Hayly and Dylan Smith of Mundelein, Shane and Liam Riefke of Evanston, Bobby and Teddy Riefke of Mt. Prospect, Jessica Low of Bigfork, Montana, and Tyson Box of Arlington, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Erik and Colton Low of Bigfork, Montana; her siblings, Ellen (the late Paul) Gast, John (Marge) Murray, Joseph (Alice) Murray, and Kay (Don) Blunk; and brother-in-law, Bill Powers.

Bridget is preceded in death by her siblings, Edward (the late Marge) Murray, and Renee Powers; and her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 11:15 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 12:00 PM. Burial is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. James Building Fund, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
