Donald J. Hogan Sr.
Of Mt. Prospect

Donald J. Hogan Sr. was born on December 21, 1937 in Chicago to James J. and Margaret C. (nee O’Brien) Hogan. He passed away on November 1, 2010 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

He is survived by his children, Laura Hogan of Hoffman Estates, Donald Jr. (Audrey) Hogan of Carmel, Indiana, Linda (Bruce) Johnson of Villa Park, Margaret (the late Joe) Benak of Mt. Prospect, James (Nancy) Hogan of Bensenville, Dorothy (Tom) Delury of Elmhurst and Deborah (Marc) Smith of Villa Park; his grandchildren, Alexa, Brian, Samantha, Joseph, Koty, Michael, Donald, Nicole, Colleen, Casey, Jake, Patrick, Kathleen, Jimmy, Allison, Joshua, Daniel, Jessica and Mary Grace, his great granddaughter, Isla Mae; his siblings, Margaret (the late James) Cusack, Patricia (the late Tom) Donahue and Anne (Stanley) Drewniany; and many nieces and nephews.

Donald is preceded in death by his wife Christine and his brother John (Joan) Hogan.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Friday, November 5, 2010 at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 301 S. Ioka (Lincoln & Elmhurst), Mt. Prospect from 11:30 AM until time of Mass at12:30 PM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
