Dorothea A. Brieschke was born on July 5, 1918 in Chicago to Willard and Minnie (nee Wickboldt) Sielaff. She died on November 27, 2009 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her children, Melodie (Dennis), Martin (Cindy) and Laurel; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and her brother Willard (Anna).

Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband, Martin A., her daughter Lynn (Walter) and her sister, LaVergne (Francis).

Visitation Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM, Monday, November 30, 2009 until the time of services at 11:00 AM at Lutheran Home & Service for the Aged, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst.
