Pauline Lacko
Of Mt. Prospect

Pauline Lacko, a long-time resident of Mt. Prospect, was born April 6, 1919 in Chicago to Gaetano and Maria (nee Confalonieri) Coari. Pauline died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Pauline was a wonderful mother, a cherished grandmother and a loving great grandmother. Pauline loved her family, her home and beautiful garden, and chocolate . . . in that order. Pauline was an avid gardener and an active Grandmother.

Pauline’s survivors include her children Adrienne (Charles) Williams and John (Sharron) Lacko; her grandchildren C.J. Williams, Chris (Patricia) Williams and Lauren Williams, Dana (Marion) Januszkiewicz, Ralph Lyle Pingel, Rhonda Louise (Steven) Medina and Michael John (Amy) Lacko; and her great grandchildren Steven Jr, Michael John, Justin Thomas, Skylar Luke, Luciana Marin and Tyler John.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband John of 56 years. He was the love of her life.

Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Hillside.
