Rose M. Marra

Rose M. Marra was born on November 7, 1916 in Chicago to Vito and Jenny (nee Ippoliti) Casiello. She died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Marra was employed by the Jewel Food Store in Chicago. She was formerly employed by St. Anne Hospital in Chicago. She was an avid Cubs fan and her love for cooking was only exceeded by her love for her grandchildren. She regularly prayed the Rosary and had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Rose is survived by her children, James (Charlotte) Marra of Estero, FL and Robert (Martha) Marra of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren, Robyn (Mark) Zanatta, Kristin (Bryan) Griffin, Jay and Tom (Cheryl) Marra; her great-grandchildren Nicholas, McKinley, Brandon, Connor and Sean; her siblings, Antoinette Mazza and Nick Casiello.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marra, her parents and her brother Rocco.

Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 28, 2008 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
