Betty Jane Jacobson

Betty Jane Jacobson, formerly of Grayslake and Buffalo Grove, was born August 25, 1929 in Waukegan to Thomas and Lucille Murtha. She died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Gurnee.

Mrs. Jacobson was the beloved mother of Kimberly Jacobson, Kirk Jacobson, and Mark (Cindy) Jacobson; beloved grandmother of Gregory (Kim) and Shawn (Jaclyn); sister-in-law of Marie Carlson; loving Aunt to several nieces and nephews; friend to many others.

She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley M. Jacobson; brothers Carl and William Rowan, her parents; her mother-in-law, Mabel Jacobson, and sisters-in-law Norma McDonald and Ruth Rowan, brother-in-law O.C. McDonald.

At the request of the family, services will be private.
